Northern Ireland Social Media Awards Finalist
What can I say. I am speechless and honoured to be shortlisted as a finalist for Best Use of Social Media in Retail 2019 (under 10k following) at the Northern Ireland Social Media Awards.
Shortlisted alongside Bumble and Bee, Stable Lane Boutique, Be Unique by Emma and Halo Healthy Kitchen. We demonstrated to the judges how we embrace social media to develop, manage and engage our audiences.
For me personally if it wasn't for social media I wouldn't have a business.
When I founded Serenity Ten my main objective was to create my own business before I turned .... a woman never tells her age! :)
So I launched a website (I had no idea what I was doing) and turned to social media to promote my business.
When I turned to blogging to promote my business, I did feel ridiculous talking to my phone. But I didn't care. Life's to short.
I knew that if I created engaging content to share my style and my life I could create a following to drive traffic and conversion via my website.
I know that I'm not be the youngest or slimmest fashion blogger in town but there is something special and unique about my approach and that's honesty and DNGAF attitude.
I have the passion and determination to make Serenity Ten a success. Everyday isn't a great day, but we deal with it and move on. I'm also not ashamed to ask for help as I am no IT wiz kid.
For now, I am going to remain on cloud nine, look forward to awards night and worry about my tan, hair and outfit for on the awards night, which promises to a stylish affair.
Before I go I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends and everyone who has supported to create Serenity Ten.
